Update February 9th 2026
The Emergency Relief Fund team continued to support needy families in tented camps all over the Gaza Strip with food parcels, cash, blankets, children clothes and tents’ covers. Provision of water to different areas is ongoing. Meanwhile the Never Stop Dreaming Centre continues its magnificent work in aiding the mental health of children through play.


Update January 26th 2026
Latest from our team in the Gaza Strip:
Over 200 children in different shelter schools or tented camps received clothes.

NSD/Qayis centre continued with their work at Al Ahmad shelter school and they did one session at a tented camp sheltering families from the north and south at Al Namsawi housing project in Khan Younis.
The distribution of blankets and plastic tents covers for displaced families is ongoing. Total now supported is17220.This includes Food parcels, cash, blankets, plastic tents covers, strengthening of tents, clothes, powdered milk, and nappies.This figure excludes the ongoing water supply to different tented camps/shelter schools.
The situation is still very difficult for displaced Palestinian families by the criminal Israeli army.

Update December 29th 2025
In the past two weeks we have managed the distribution of more blankets and cover for tents,

as well as helping many families strengthen their tents. We have also arranged water distribution to different areas, the provision of 200 IS ( £45) to families, whom the team are not able to reach, many in the North of the Gaza Strip, through the Bank of Palestine.

The total number of food parcel distributed so far amounts 16273.

NSD/Qayis centre for Psychological and Community support carried out two more sessions: the video is from the last of four sessions at Ibin Khaldoun shelter school and the photos are from the first session at Haifa shelter school.
Update December 2nd 2025
Here we can see good news in the middle of this tragedy of genocide. Our team has continued distributing water to communities in tented camps and shelter schools and five areas of town. As before the feedback is extremely positive.

The team also provided a further 350 food parcels since my last report to families whi have been forcefully displaced by the criminal IOF and tented camps and shelter schools all over the Gaza Strip, both in the North and in the South, (photos are from distribution in the Beach camp, Gaza city.)

This brings the total of families helped to 15499.
Update November 11th 2025
160 families received food parcels from our team on the ground during the last ten days, more food parcels are being delivered this week. This brings the total to 13909 .

The team is trying to buy as many blankets and tent covers as possible and timber to help families in tented camps this winter. Sadly , approximately 75% of people in the Gaza Strip will continue , for a long time, to live in tented camps or tents on the rubble of their homes.
NSD/Qayis centre are continuing with their very impressive work , entertaining and providing psychological support for children in shelter schools and tented camps. The team is continuing to provide drinking/washing water for different communities.
The need for continued support is as important as ever.

Update October 29th 2025
Our team on the ground in the Gaza Strip has delivered the following:
1- Four hundred food parcels to families in tented camps in Gaza/north, Middle camps, Khan Younis ( which is still having 100’s of thousands of Palestinians from the north who can’t afford/scared to go back).
This means that the team distributed 1050 food parcels since the criminal Israeli army allowed the entry of some goods to the Gaza Strip a few weeks ago. Total 13,749 so far. Some lists are within this reports, more to follow.
2- Construction of a small number of tents is n camps at Al Mawasy for needy families/strengthening of tents/provision of tent covers for many families.
3- amazing work from the NSD/Qayis centre: entertaining/providing psychological support for children in tented camps and shelter schools.

4- a water pump for a well which will serve a large community at Al Katiba area in Khan Younis.
5- a water fountain for teams of volunteers who are removing the rubble from different streets in Khan Younis area.
6- drinking/washing water to different tented camps and other communities.
IT WILL TAKE A LONG TIME FOR THESE FAMILIES TO BE ABLE TO SUPPORT THEMSELVES. OUR WORK IS AS IMPORTANT AS BEFORE.
SOLIDARITY NOT CHARITY

Update October 9th 2025
As the children are told this is ‘Solidarity not charity’ they raise their fists in the air and smile.

This week the team has distributed further 450 food parcels in different tented camps and shelter schools for people who were forcefully evacuated from the north town and the south. ( 400 in Al Mawasy tented camp and 50 in a shelter school) 320 were given to families forcefully evacuated from the north and Gaza city to Al Mawasy and Deir El Balah
This bring the total families helped to: 13,359
Two further points in this update:
- NSD/Qayis centre are closed but continue with their visits to children at tented camps to provide entertainment and psychological support.
- The team also helped a small number of families to strengthen their tents and resumed provision of drinking water in a number of areas.
Update October 1st 2025
We are very happy to report that our team on the ground has so far distributed 610 food parcels since the Israeli criminal army allowed the commercial lorries 4 weeks ago.
This brings the total number of families supported to12,919.

The NSD /Qayis centre for psychological & community development finished 4 more sessions at a second tented camp in Al Mawasy area; including participation of mothers which is very important.
The Israeli crime of forceful evacuation of Palestinian families (100s of thousands) from the north to the South (Mainly Al Mawasy), there will be a greater need for more work to help as many as we can of these families.

Update September 11th 2025

100 food parcels were given to families from the fishing community in the Beach Camp ” Al Shati “-Gaza city. While receiving this report, the conversation with Zakaria, who is a member of our team, was interrupted with loud noise from the Heavy Israeli bombardment of the beach camp which is still happening. Effectively these food parcels were delivered under bombing nearby.
There will be a report in the coming few days on more delivery of food Parcels in the south and the middle of the Gaza Strip. So far; 450 food parcels were delivered to families from the north and south since we resumed supply of food parcels.

Update September 3rd 2025
150 more families received food parcels in Al Mawasy,Deir Al Balah and the middle refugee camps since we resumed the provision.
This bring the total supported since the start of this fund to 12,309.

Members of our team in the north are working hard with forcefully evacuated families in Gaza city in tented camps (from Gaza city, Beit Hanoun, Jabalia, Beit Lahia and the beach camp).
The indefatigable NSD /Qayis centre team started work with a new group of children within Al Mawasy (Watan alternative education school), after finishing the 4 sessions at Al Taghreeba (Exile) tented camp.

Update August 17th 2025
150 families received our support since the start of August. This brings the total number of families supported by the fund to 11,992.
The team from NSD/Qayis centre is continuing with providing entertainment/psychological support for children in tented camps; 4 session per place as designed by the team’s psychologist Suzanne’s plan. This was the second session at “Al taghreeba camp within Al Mawasy area”. Taghreeba means exile in Arabic – the name reflects how they believe that they are exiled in their own homeland – at a short distance from their homes .
